Just because you read it on the internet does it automatically think it's true? I've been saying that the FAQ was wrong for years now and I'm not alone in that. It was written a long time ago and needs to be edited because there is a definite improvement in performance with BOVs compared to recirculating valves. The performance improvement I'm talking about isn't extra power or that 'neat' sound. It's an improvement of turbo spool time between shifts. The recirculation valves do the job of helping to prevent compressor surge but the BOVs will do a more efficient job with the sacrifice of running rich for a fraction of a second. Quit being a sheep. Think out of the box.
